This contract position offers a flexible schedule of approximately three days per week, focusing primarily on supporting elementary-aged students. The role is designed to provide valuable therapeutic assistance that enhances students' ability to participate fully in their academic and social activities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OTR to elementary students within the school setting. Assist in assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of individualized education program (IEP) goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to ensure cohesive student support. Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines. Adapt therapy interventions to meet the diverse needs of students in a dynamic school environment. Desired Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working in healthcare and/or school-based occupational therapy settings. Ability to build rapport with children and work effectively within an educational team.
