is hiring a Rehab Technician to join the team at Colonial Springs Healthcare Center at Buffalo, Missouri. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department: Equipped with specialized technologies, including Balance Master, VitalStim, and Anodyne, the Rehab Services Department works closely with physicians to provide acute and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to restore the functional abilities of patients. Emphasis is placed on collaboration and teamwork, and new therapists are encouraged to grow their skills through professional development and mentorship. The department routinely finishes within the 90th percentile or better in the nation for patient satisfaction.
A typical day includes: Assisting Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapists to provide quality care to patients and residents with physical impairments and disabilities.
Completes pre-authorizations with all new patients
Cleans and prepares clinical areas and therapy equipment
Maintains appropriate levels of therapy supplies
Answers phones, schedules appointments, and performs other clerical functions as needed
This position is: Full-time, 7am - 3:30pm
Job Requirements:
Education: HS diploma or equivalent
Experience: Prior CNA experience preferred but not required
Skills: Patient care,puter literacy, customer service
Licensure/Certification: N/A
Physical: Prolonged periods of standing and walking, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance, ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
