Adjunct Instructor of Physical Therapy

Carroll University seeks an Adjunct Instructor of Physical Therapy for the Fall 2025 semester. The Department of Physical Therapy in the College of Health Sciences offers a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Course: PTH7619- PT Elective - Advanced Manual Therapy Techniques

Time/Days: Friday, 1PM - 3PM

Brief Course Description: This elective course involves advanced study (beyond entry-level) of selected physical therapy methods and practices. Guided study and hands-on experiences will contribute to in-depth investigation of physical therapy techniques in chosen areas of research and clinical practice. This course will allow students to develop advanced competency in a physical therapy specialty area.

Advanced Orthopedic Manual Therapy Techniques Section: This section of the course will build upon and further refine advanced manual techniques in orthopedic physical therapy with a heavy emphasis on spinal manipulation. Additionally, manual techniques directed at other regions of the body, cupping, and IASTM will also be explored within the course. Clinical reasoning, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based practice will guide implementation of the techniques taught in this section of the course.

Qualifications: Doctorate or Masters of Physical Therapy. Official transcripts due upon hire.

The College: The College of Health Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate programs through seven departments; Public Health, Athletic Training, Physician Assistant Studies, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, and Department of Movement Sciences.
