We're seeking a dedicated speech-language pathologist to provide comprehensive therapeutic services to students across Kentucky's virtual learning community, combining clinical expertise with innovative technology to achieve exceptional outcomes. Role Overview This position involves serving 40-50 students weekly across diverse grade levels from Pre-K through high school, working approximately 36 hours per week. You'll be instrumental in identifying communication needs, developing intervention strategies, and supporting academic success through our proven virtual therapy delivery model. Primary Duties Administer comprehensive speech and language assessments through secure virtual platforms
Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and educational goals
Provide virtual therapy services addressing articulation, language processing, and social communication
Collaborate closely with virtual classroom teachers to implement communication strategies across settings
Lead virtual IEP team meetings and contribute to special education decision-making processes
Offer consultation services to parents and caregivers through virtual family training sessions
Document all therapeutic services provided in accordance with professional and legal standards
Participate in case review meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Required Credentials Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Current Kentucky speech-language pathology license
Minimum 2 years of direct experience providing speech therapy in educational environments
Proficiency in speech and language assessment interpretation and treatment planning
Experience with virtual or telehealth service delivery models preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional documentation and collaboration
Ability to build therapeutic relationships with students and families in virtual settings
Technology Specifications Secure, private workspace suitable for confidential virtual therapy sessions
Reliable broadband internet with minimum upload/download speeds for video conferencing
Professional computing equipment with current software and security features
High-quality webcam and noise-canceling headset for accurate speech perception
Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and digital documentation systems

Language disorders in school-age children and adolescents
