Qualifications:

Must have an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New York

Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy

Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required

Skills & Abilities:

Familiarity with working with students with ASD, medical fragility, and orthopedic/neurological impairments

Strong knowledge of pediatric motor development and physical therapy interventions

Ability to safely handle students with mobility, positioning, or behavioral needs

Clear and professional communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with families and school staff, while managing caseloads, documentation, and timelines.

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
