We're expanding our remote team and seeking an experienced speech-language pathologist to join our dynamic education community, providing exceptional therapeutic services through innovative teletherapy technology while maintaining meaningful connections with students and families. Position Details This role encompasses 35 hours of weekly service delivery, supporting approximately 50-60 students ranging from preschool through 12th grade. You'll utilize state-of-the-art virtual platforms to provide comprehensive speech and language interventions, ensuring students receive consistent, high-quality therapeutic support regardless of their physical location. Key Responsibilities Perform virtual speech and language assessments using standardized evaluation tools
Design and implement individualized therapy plans addressing articulation, phonology, and language goals
Facilitate engaging virtual therapy sessions incorporating interactive digital resources and games
Serve as a key member of multidisciplinary teams in developing communication-focused educational strategies
Conduct virtual observations and consultations with classroom teachers and support staff
Provide parent training and home program support through virtual family sessions
Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding student therapeutic services
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance virtual service delivery skills
Essential Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited institution
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Active Ohio speech-language pathology license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in educational or pediatric settings
Demonstrated competency in speech and language assessment and intervention
Previous experience with teletherapy or virtual service delivery strongly preferred
Strong organizational and time management abilities for managing virtual caseloads
Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse student populations and communication styles
Remote Work Setup Dedicated home office space with appropriate privacy measures for confidential sessions
High-speed internet connection with backup connectivity options for uninterrupted service
Professional computer setup with dual monitors recommended for optimal therapy delivery
Quality audio/video equipment for clear communication and accurate speech assessment
Understanding of HIPAA and FERPA compliance requirements in virtual therapy environments
Specialized Skills Valued Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and software
Background in serving students with autism, Down syndrome, or developmental delays
Training in feeding and swallowing therapy adapted for virtual consultation
Fluency disorders specialization and virtual stuttering intervention techniques
Bilingual proficiency for serving multilingual student populations
