Audiologist

Join our family. Wichita Ear Clinic is hiring a full time Audiolgist. At Wichita Ear Clinic our Audiologists evaluate and treat various hearing and balance disorders, and specialize in hearing aid fitting and ongoing treatment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Examine patients who have hearing, balance, or related ear problems.
• Perform comprehensive hearing tests and Tympanometry, balance testing (including ABR, VNG, and OAE)
• Counsel patients on hearing loss
• Hearing aid consultation, fittings, orientation, adjustments, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Clean test equipment and work area
• Perform Canalith Repositioning Maneuvers as ordered by physicians
• Answer calls to Audiology and responds to voicemails
• Schedules patient appointments
• Maintain current forms and inventory of new hearing aids/repairs
• Keep necessary supplies stocked in work areas.
• Maintain documentation of customer contact and account updates

Required Qualifications:

• Masters Degree, AuD, or PhD
• Ability to obtain and retain Kansas State Licenses
• Must be comfortable with hearing aid sales
• Ability to interact with patients, despite hearing or speech issues
