Job Responsibilities

  • Implement Therapeutic Activities: Apply evidence-based approaches to improve patients motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday living capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones through therapy techniques to encourage ongoing progress and confidence at home.
  • Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their paths to recovery.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Continuing education and additional certifications are highly encouraged and actively supported.
Licensure
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) credential is mandatory.
