Description

  • Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
  • Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to devise cohesive care strategies.
  • Provide essential education for patients and families to encourage progress beyond clinical sessions.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the entire treatment journey.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation consistent with state, federal, and organizational standards.

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within the first 30 days of employment.
