Job Responsibilities
  • Create Personalized Therapy Plans: Analyze patients needs and devise tailored treatment plans designed to help them reach their specific functional goals
  • Implement Therapeutic Measures: Leverage evidence-based techniques to improve patients motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in conjunction with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and caregivers with knowledge about therapy methods to foster ongoing progress at home
  • Assess and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the path to success
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
  • Encouragement and support for continuing education or postgraduate certifications
Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
