Occupational Therapist Assistant Home Health

Coverage area: Aurora, Arvada, Denver, Englewood, Lakewood, Golden

Schedule: Full Time, Mon - Fri

Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing evaluation of patients functional status
  • Teach and/or retrain patients skills in daily activities
  • Provide instruction to patients family/caregiver on treatment regimen
  • Follow treatment program and goals for improved patient function as advised by the Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Maintain appropriate clinical records and submit documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant education program accredited by ACOTE
  • NBCOT certified with current licensure to practice in state of operation
  • 1+ year COTA experience
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
