Summary

The VCU Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program is seeking a qualified individual to support OCCT 713: Adults II, an intervention-focused course centered on adult rehabilitation practice. This position involves weekly engagement in lab-based learning for the Fall 2025 semester.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students in weekly lab and simulation-based learning activities.
• Providing guided feedback during hands-on practice.
• Participating in scheduled lab practicals, including serving as a standardized patient.
• Collaborating with course faculty to ensure alignment with course objectives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program.
• Experience working with adult populations in clinical settings.
• Familiarity with simulation-based learning and experiential teaching methods.
• Interest in supporting professional development of OTD students through active lab engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as an adjunct faculty member at VCU.
