Occupational Therapist Elementary School Setting (Aurora, IL)
A rewarding opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support elementary-aged students within a dynamic school environment for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing critical therapy services to enhance student development and participation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services tailored to elementary students unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy goals.
- Manage and adjust caseload effectively; specific caseload details will be determined.
- Provide onsite therapy interventions, assessments, and progress documentation.
- Participate in meetings and maintain compliance with relevant state and district policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required.
- Experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school settings preferred.
- Ability to engage effectively with children, families, and school staff.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with school-based OT and relevant state-specific requirements.
