A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the entire 2025-2026 school year to cover two concurrent medical leaves. This contract role is based onsite at an early childhood-focused school in Elgin, Illinois, providing services five days a week with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Qualified candidates will hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement and have experience in early childhood settings, ideally encompassing pediatrics, teletherapy, and school-based clinical practice. Credentials such as the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to early childhood students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state education requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement.
- Experience working in pediatrics and school settings.
- Clinical Fellowship Year completion and/or current CCC-SLP certification.
- Ability to work onsite and engage with early childhood learners effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
