Occupational Therapist School Setting in Naperville, IL

An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting. This contract position spans the full school year and is located in Naperville, IL. The role focuses on providing therapeutic services that enhance students' ability to succeed academically, socially, and physically within the school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement effective strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to optimize student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with school and regulatory standards.
• Support students in developing skills for independence and participation in daily school activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience working in a K-12 educational setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and school-based therapy practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
