Occupational Therapist (OT) School-Based
Location: Wellton Hills, Arizona
Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week
Caseload: District-Wide, High School Level
Work Setting: Onsite Preferred Virtual Candidates Will Be Considered

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to support high school students across a district in Wellton Hills, AZ . This opportunity involves partnering with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and contributing to a collaborative therapy environment. While onsite candidates are preferred, we are also open to qualified virtual applicants with prior teletherapy experience.

• Serve a high school caseload across multiple sites

• Caseload shared with a COTA (approx. 150 students total)

• Responsibilities include direct therapy, assessments, evaluations, IEP development, and participation in meetings

• Collaborate with school staff, families, and other providers to support student success

• Focus on helping students build fine motor, sensory integration, and functional skills essential for academic access

• Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy License and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation

• Comfortable using teletherapy platforms (if applying virtually)

• Weekly pay with direct deposit
