A local district in Belle Rose, LA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join their school-based team full-time. This position supports a diverse student population ranging from early learners to middle schoolers and offers a unique opportunity to make a broad impact across age groups and needs.

What to Expect:
As the SLP, you'll provide both direct and consultative services to students between the ages of 3 and 14. The caseload spans a wide range of communication needs, including speech and language impairments, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), health impairments, and students with severe to profound disabilities.

Student Population:

• Ages: 3 years old through 8th grade

• Schools: Primary (3 yrs5th grade) and Middle School (6th8th grade)

• Caseload includes a mix of mild, moderate, and intensive support needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy services aligned with IEP goals

• Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility evaluations

• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Develop customized treatment plans and monitor progress

• Maintain required documentation using district-approved systems

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• ASHA CCCs required

• Louisiana SLP License

• School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical skills considered
