Respiratory Therapist needed for a 13-Week Travel Assignment

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a respected healthcare facility in Milwaukee, WI.

Details:

• 36 hours per week
• 13 week assignment
• 3x12 hour night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments to patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions

• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, ventilator management, and pulmonary function testing

• Respond to emergency codes and provide airway management support

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

Requirements:

• Active RRT credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Required

• Wisconsin state Respiratory Care Practitioner license Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Preferred

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting Preferred
