SummaryTo support all therapists (PT, OT, SLP, Wound Care) in patient care, distributing and maintaining equipment, and keeping the department neat and orderly. Position Reports To: Rehab Services Manager
Essential Functions
- Transport patient safely and efficiently.
- Set up treatment area appropriately with necessary equipment as instructed by therapist.
- Work accurately and proficiently in Epic (the organization’s electronic medical records program) to perform tasks, including basic reception scheduling practices, navigating referrals, managing in-basket messaging, navigating patient charts, and other Epic tasks/functions assigned to the Rehab Aide position.
- Keep treatment area and gym neat and orderly. Clean equipment properly.
- Neatly stock and rotate linen.
- Assist therapist with patient treatment as requested.
- Observe and report patient’s general condition and any pertinent information about patient from other hospital staff.
- Required to maintain current BLS certification.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Motivated, positive attitude
- Must possess basic computer skills
