Job Summary and Qualifications

Evaluates patients and develops and implements individualized patient treatment plans as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff. Participates in on-going professional development. In addition, the lead therapist will participate in quality assurance activities, evaluate competency and performance of staff, coordinate services with other lead staff members, assist with program development and serve as a clinical resource to the staff. Assume any other clinical or administrative duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

Education:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited school of physical or occupational therapy. Speech therapy graduate of an AMA accredited school and ASHA certified

Certification:

• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS

Licensure:

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist clinician preferably in an acute care facility
