Occupational Therapist Maternity Coverage

: The school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) provides comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, grades PreK-12, with disabilities in fine and gross motor skills, attention, sensory integration, pre-vocational skills, skills in daily living and by supporting their educational progress and participation in school activities. This role involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs), implement interventions, and assess student progress.

Job requirements:

• Master's degree in occupational therapy.
• Current and valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in MA
• Strong understanding of educational laws and regulations, including IDEA and 504.
• Experience working with students of various ages and with a range of disabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in developing and implementing interventions based on student needs
• Knowledge of assessment and evaluation tools and procedures.
• Experience in documentation and report writing.
• Ability to provide consultation and training to school staff.
