Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Responsibilities

Provides Occupational Therapy (OT) services to program recipients, under clinical supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT). Provides consultation and any required clinical supervision related to OT services or other Individual Program Plan (IPP) components. Is responsible and functioning as an Interdisciplinary Team member. Assuring compliance with all applicable standards for services.

Qualifications

Licensed and currently registered as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by the New York State Department of Education. One (1) year of experience working with persons with developmentally disabilities is preferred. May be required to meet Lifetime Assistance VEHICLE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS.
