Community Action & Human Services Occupational Therapist

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Occupational Therapy. One year of professional experience in home health and/or home modification processes are required. Must possess a valid State of Florida Occupational Therapist License. Must possess a valid State of Florida Driver s license.

This is advanced professional occupational health and safety work for the Community Action and Human Services Department. An employee in this class is responsible for, but not limited to, the assessment, treatment, and education of or consultation with older adults, along with their families, whose abilities to participate safely in occupations, including activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, rest and sleep, education, work, play, leisure, and social participation, are impaired or have been identified as at risk of impairment due to issues related to, but not limited to, physical environment.

This is a grant-funded, temporary position.

Employment in this role is contingent upon a successful Level 2 background check.
