Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients specific needs to devise tailored therapy programs aimed at achieving functional goals
  • Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply research-supported methods to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their loved ones on therapeutic techniques to sustain progress at home
  • Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the right path
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy obtained from an accredited institution
  • Commitment to ongoing education, with opportunities for post-graduation certifications encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
