Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a K-12 public school setting in Lake Elsinore, CA, for the upcoming school year under a contract arrangement. The role focuses on supporting children with speech and language disorders through targeted evaluation, treatment, and collaboration. Key responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language difficulties Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Delivering therapy sessions aimed at achieving specific speech and language objectives Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed documentation of outcomes Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and specialists, to ensure cohesive care Engaging families in the treatment process and providing education to support progress Qualifications and desired experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly encouraged Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent interpersonal abilities Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment This role requires an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California and the completion or enrollment in a Master's degree program or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
