This contract role runs through the current school year, offering the chance to work directly with young learners to enhance their motor skills, independence, and overall school performance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and develop individualized occupational therapy plans for elementary-aged students. Implement interventions aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to tailor strategies that foster inclusive learning environments. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies. Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and adapt therapy plans accordingly. Desired Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure appropriate for school-based practice. Experience working with elementary school children in a therapeutic capacity. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel, students, and families. Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and learning environments.
