Job Description

RCM Health Care is seeking an OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST to provide therapy services students IN THEIR HOME ENVIRONMENT in and around Westland, MI. This is for their Early On (Ages 0-3) Program. This district offers a lot of mentoring and support as there are over 15 other OTs on staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLILITIES: Others duties may be assigned

Interpret physician orders related to professional area of responsibility

Assess fine motor skills of students

Develop, implement, monitor and modify treatment plans based on physician orders and assessment of student as appropriate

Complete IEP, MET, Medicaid and treatment forms/reports

Maintain treatment/progress notes and Medicaid documentation per professional standards

Train Paraprofessionals on various student plans

Regular and predictable attendance

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Registered Occupational Therapist - State of Michigan

Michigan Driver's License

Pediatric experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have good organizational skills

Must have good written and oral language ability

Good interpersonal skills with children and adults

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
