We are hiring immediately for a full-time, part-time, or PRN in-home Pediatric Physical Therapists. As a Therapist with Kid Physical, you'll play a vital role in supporting children (birth to 18 years old) and their families. You'll provide direct patient care including evaluations, assessments, and development of individualized treatment plans. You'll also coach and empower families to help implement strategies that enhance their child's developmental progress in natural settings. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for our patients. Qualifications: Strong background in Occupational Therapy and Pediatric Occupational Therapy skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Initiative and independent judgement in performing job responsibilities Experience working with children newborn through 18 years old with special needs is preferred Knowledge of evidence-based practice and current trends in pediatric occupational therapy Experience in a home health and Early Intervention setting is a plus Current Colorado state license in Occupational Therapy Valid driver's license Current CPR certification or within 90 days of hire Responsibilities: Examine, evaluate, and provide treatments for pediatric patients Develop, implement, and instruct caregivers in Occupational Therapy programs that focus on habilitation in a play-based, natural environment Work and communicate directly with clients and families to achieve maximum growth and development Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate clients' progress to care team, including physician Maintain adequate caseload with appropriate productivity Record and document client care services Collaborate with office staff and other disciplines to achieve well-rounded care Refer patients to appropriate services as needed Participate in QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) program
