Encompassing both a day school and a center for educating parents and professionals, Springer is a caring, fast-paced workplace located in Cincinnati's Hyde Park neighborhood.

Position Summary

Springer School and Center has a great School Occupational Therapist opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a short term maternity leave coverage (30-40 hours weekly) for the months of August - November serving children in first - eighth grades. We are looking for someone who has experience in pediatrics and/or school settings.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
• 1-2 years of pediatric experience (required)
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of practice

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students' fine motor, visual motor, graphomotor, gross motor, and motor planning abilities, while providing appropriate recommendations for intervention
• Complete thorough evaluation reports, as well as maintain timely and accurate progress notes
• Prioritizing students needs when treatment planning and throughout service delivery
• Collaborate with team members
• ?Secure Pupil Service license through the Ohio State board of Education prior to starting
