Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Join our dynamic team of Speech Language Pathologists providing virtual therapy services to Kentucky schools, where innovative technology meets compassionate care. Our remote service model allows you to impact student lives while maintaining professional flexibility and work-life balance in this rewarding educational role. Position Framework This opportunity provides 37 hours weekly serving middle school students across grades 6-8 through our comprehensive virtual platform. Manage a diverse caseload of 52 students, addressing the complex communication needs typical of adolescent development while supporting academic and social success during these critical transitional years. Essential Duties Implement individualized speech and language intervention programs via telehealth technology
Conduct thorough assessments and re-evaluations using virtual diagnostic tools
Design age-appropriate therapy activities that engage middle school learners
Address voice changes, social communication, and academic language development
Coordinate services with special education teams and general education teachers
Provide ongoing progress monitoring and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Support IEP development and implementation through virtual team collaboration
Credential Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
Valid Kentucky Speech-Language Pathology license
Minimum 2 years of experience in educational speech therapy settings
Middle school experience strongly preferred
Competency in virtual therapy platforms and digital resource creation
Dedicated home office space with professional video conferencing capabilities
Student Demographics Your caseload will include students with stuttering disorders, language-based learning disabilities, social communication challenges, and speech sound disorders.
