The position spans the full school year and offers the opportunity to provide essential speech-language services within an educational environment. Location: Hampton, VA Note: SLP services must be performed onsite in Williamsburg, VA (approximately 1 hour southeast of Richmond, near Newport News, and 1 hour northwest of Norfolk). Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to assigned caseloads. Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique speech and language needs. Conduct thorough evaluations of speech and language abilities. Write detailed reports and present findings to educational teams and families. Maintain accurate progress reports reflecting student development. Collect and manage data to monitor student progress and program effectiveness. Qualifications/Desired Experience: Valid certification as an SLP or SLPA with relevant school-based experience. Proficiency in conducting speech and language evaluations in educational settings. Strong ability to develop and implement IEPs. Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration. Experience maintaining detailed data tracking systems.
