We begin with a comprehensive evaluation. Based on the evaluation results, an individualized treatment plan is developed for the child, with input from the family. In each case, the speech-language pathologist involves the family in the treatment process to ensure not only the best treatment outcomes, but also a high level of family satisfaction with the process. Our efforts are also directed toward making the therapy a positive and enjoyable experience for the child.

About the Job:

We are recruiting for a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Division of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics (DDBP), who will improve access for patients with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities, including in multidisciplinary diagnostic clinics. Position will also increase access to treatment of patients followed in DDBP.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, Day shift hours. We also provide "family-friendly hours" to accommodate families in late afternoon/evening.

Location:

This job will primarily work at the Burnet Campus, but may travel to outpatient sites, as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology or communication sciences & disorders
  • Active permanent license in speech-language pathology in the State of Ohio.
  • Have Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Related experience working with specific patient population highly desired
