The department manages 39 facilities, including recreation centers, senior centers, and indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities, and provides thousands of programs such as out-of-school activities, aquatics, classes, youth and adult sports programs and leagues, senior programs, and therapeutic recreation.

Montgomery County Recreation is looking for an energetic, highly motivated, entry-level TeenWorks!

What You'll Be Doing

As a TeenWorks you will:

Provide exceptional customer service by looking up and sharing accurateinformation.

Assists with supervision of participants in school-based or recreation center-based programs or activities.

Set up and break downequipment.

Monitor activities and ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment.

Lead recreation activities.

Assist with problem-solving and troubleshooting during programs or activities.

Assist with cleaning and organizing of facility or program.

Learn something new EVERY DAY!

To be a successful TeenWorks, you MUST:

Be at least 15 years of age.

Be able to follow directions.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Some work experience leading or instructing a recreation or related activity.

Education: Ability to read and write.

Equivalency: None.
