Position Summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a nationally recognized health care system located in central North Carolina. Responsibilities

Outpatient Respiratory Therapist Job Summary

Cutting edge diagnostic services that include Super Dimensional Bronchoscopy, Endobronchial Ultrasound Bronchoscopy (EBUS),Bed side bronchoscopy, and Bronchial Thermoplasty.

Pulmonary Function testing

Obtaining and running arterial blood gases

preop CABG teachings

Delivery of small volume nebulizers.

Oxygen & Aerosol Therapy .

Assist with airway management in some case

Qualifications

Outpatient Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

Graduate of an approved respiratory care technology program with a current North Carolina Respiratory Care license,

Registered Respiratory Therapist or CRT credential, RRT preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years of current clinical respiratory care experience preferred.

Clinical life safety certification requirements must be achieved prior to the end of the probationary/training period include: ACLS, PALS and NRP. Adult critical care experience is preferred
