Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and develop tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven methods to improve patients motor abilities, cognitive function, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide insights and techniques to patients and caregivers to assist with progress at home
• Document and Track Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT certification is mandatory
