  • Engage collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure an integrated approach to care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering their progress beyond the therapy space.
  • Conduct inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when necessary, maintaining a seamless care experience throughout the patients journey.
  • Ensure thorough and timely documentation that complies with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
  • Commit to ongoing professional growth through continuing education and collaborative practices.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Required Credentials

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
