Occupational Therapist - Acute - (OT - Acute)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2418.30 - $2649.84
Job Summary:-Provides assessment, treatment and education in the areas of independent living, community reintegration, functional cognitive retraining, upper extremity function, perceptual activities and assistive equipment and splinting/positioning mechanics.-Evaluates patients, schedules and establishes appropriate treatment goals, along with anticipated outcomes, and delivers skilled physical assessments and treatments effectively.-Delegates/supervises effectively within scope of authority to students, assistants and technicians.-Reassesses patient's progress, revises treatment plan and modifies goals when appropriate.-Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards.-Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Occupational Therapist, Acute
Experience: 1 year
Licenses: OT-OH(Copy needed)
Certifications: OTR-National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed)

Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
Required Education:
-Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school is required.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Current/valid state Occupational Therapist licensure is required.
-BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
-Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
-Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) endorsed by the American Heart Association.
