  • Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that concentrate on enhancing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.
  • Work in concert with an array of healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to forge comprehensive care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families to facilitate improved progress when therapy sessions conclude.
  • Participate in inpatient speech therapy assessments, ensuring patients receive consistent support throughout their care experience.
  • Keep detailed documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational requirements.

Education

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if certification from ASHA has not yet been obtained.

Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preference for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
