Job Responsibilities- Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and develop personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their functional aspirations
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily routines
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
- Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy methodologies to facilitate ongoing improvement at home
- Monitor Patient Progress: Document clinical outcomes and adjust therapies as necessary to ensure patients stay on their path to recovery
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Ongoing educational pursuits and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
