We are looking for a compassionate and reliable manager of behavior health to serve a leadership role in management of clinical and administrative needs within our therapy services team. In addition to the supervisory and clinical operations of an assigned unit, the Manager will support operational management for inpatient programs with the Director of Therapeutic Services and in the directors absence. • You will collaborate with our therapy Director for all overall planning of each program
• You will assist in maintaining sufficient number of qualified staff by interviewing, hiring and supervising staff.
• You will make cost containment recommendations and see through to approval and implementation.
• You will take initiative to solve problems and recommend improvements for the department.
• You will have working knowledgeable of professional trends for area of specialty.

Requirements:

• Education: Masters of Science in, Social Work, Psychology or other related field required.
• Licensure: Current LCSW, LPC in the state of Virginia.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) required as a part of the general hospital orientation
• Experience: 3 plus years of clinical experience specifically in a behavioral health environment. Management Experience: 3 plus years of management in a clinical setting
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Masters Degree
• (LCSW) Clinical Social Worker, or (LPC/LMHC) Licensed Professional/Mental Health Counselor
