COTA in Riverside, CA

A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Riverside, CA, to support students with diverse therapeutic needs. This contract position spans the current school year and offers an opportunity to contribute to student development in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to K-12 students.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve students' motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to support students' educational goals.
• Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Adapt therapy activities to meet the unique needs of each student within the school environment.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
