School Speech Pathology Zanesville, Ohio

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Ohio licensure is sought for a contract position serving K-12 students during the 2025/2026 school year in the Zanesville, OH area. This opportunity involves working within a diverse school district supporting both general and special education students from PreK-12th grade.

Two positions are available: one full-time role (5 days per week) predominantly based at East Muskingum, and a part-time role (4 days per week) primarily located at New Lexington. Both positions require providing direct speech and language therapy to clients with a wide range of communication disorders and disabilities across the district.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings, including general and special education students
• Ability to manage caseloads spanning PreK-12th grade
• Proficient in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders
• Skilled in collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Provide speech and language therapy using evidence-based practices
• Monitor and document student progress and effectiveness of interventions
• Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
• Participate in meetings such as IEP development and progress reviews

Location:

• Assignments based in the Muskingum Valley ESC area with primary schools located in Zanesville, OH, and surrounding communities including Dresden, Cambridge, and Newark, OH.
