Physical Therapist - School Setting in Oklahoma City, OK

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to support K-12 students within a school setting in Oklahoma City, OK. This contract position offers the chance to work collaboratively with educators and families to enhance the physical development and functional abilities of children across elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical therapy needs
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and overall physical function
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress and integration
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Participate in meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or assistive devices

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Oklahoma
• Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
