Massage Therapist
Location: Soothe Spa at Grand Lodge on Peak 7
Compensation: Commission-based with earnings per service performed. Experienced therapists average $35-$49 per hour based on bookings + gratuities.
Position Type: Part-Time Non-Exempt
Schedule: Varied with occasional evenings

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough client consultations to customize treatments
- Performing professional massage/body therapies using approved techniques
- Maintaining impeccable sanitation standards between clients
- Promoting spa services and retail products to enhance guest wellness
- Completing accurate treatment documentation and room preparation
- Upholding our "End of the Line" service resolution philosophy
- Contributing to spa operations including linen management and inventory
Requirements
- Current Colorado Massage Therapy License (DORA)
- 500+ hour diploma from accredited massage school
- Ability to perform 4-6 treatments daily (standing 90% of shift)
- Proficiency in Swedish massage + one specialty modality
- Strong client consultation and communication skills
- Availability for evening shifts (Mon/Thurs/Fri)
- Standing & performing massage techniques (2/3 of shift)
- Continuous arm/shoulder motions & pressure application
- Lifting to 25 lbs. of linens/products
- Tolerate essential oil aromas and spa chemicals
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ months experience in luxury spa/resort environment
- Additional certifications (hot stone, prenatal, sports massage)
- Retail/product recommendation experience
- Knowledge of aromatherapy and body treatments
- Weekend/holiday availability during peak seasons
