Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students in a Delaware school setting for the 2024-2025 school year. This in-person role involves working Monday through Friday across two connected school sites, providing comprehensive speech and language services within a collaborative educational team. Location: New Castle, Delaware Onsite position within K-12 public schools Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across kindergarten to 12th grade Manage a diverse caseload distributed between two nearby schools (3 days at one school, 2 days at the other) Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes appropriately Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Delaware SLP license required ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows not considered at this time Prior school-based experience is advantageous Benefits: Competitive hourly pay ranging from $42 to $47 Weekly direct deposit for convenient payment Support from a dedicated school-based services team Optional benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental, and vision coverage This full school year contract offers a structured schedule in a supportive educational environment, ideal for professionals passionate about making an impact in pediatric speech and language development.
