Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based certification is needed for a full school year contract position in a K-12 educational setting located in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels in a supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly to meet educational goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a holistic approach to student support. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Certification to practice as a School Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience delivering speech and language services in a K-12 school setting. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, as well as intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and students.
