Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 school in Hamburg, NY, is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a maternity leave on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language support to students across all grade levels while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic educational setting. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students K-12 Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders Develop and implement treatment plans based on student needs and goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and IDEA guidelines Participate in team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Qualifications: Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with children in a school environment preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language evaluations, intervention techniques, and IEP development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Location:
