Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available supporting K-12 students with mild to moderate speech delays in Ventura County, including the communities of Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, and Oxnard, CA. This full-time, school-year contract position offers a structured schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, primarily serving either elementary or middle school students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct therapy sessions tailored to students' individual needs
- Conducting speech and language testing and assessments
- Participating actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student progress
- Collaborating with school staff and families to implement effective speech language interventions
Qualified candidates must hold a current California Speech Language Pathology license and demonstrate experience working with mild to moderate speech delays within the school setting. The role demands strong communication skills, a student-centered approach, and flexibility to work with different age groups.
