Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Prescott, Wisconsin

This contract position offers the opportunity to provide specialized speech-language services in a K-12 educational setting located in Prescott, WI. The role involves working approximately 20 hours per week throughout the school year, supporting students at both the high school level and in multiple 4K classrooms within close proximity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of 4K students focusing on language and articulation needs, as well as high school students with language-based challenges.
• Utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools such as Proloquo2Go and TouchChat to support student communication.
• Traveling between one high school and three nearby 4K sites daily to provide consistent therapy services.
• Collaborating with school staff and possibly supervising paraprofessionals or other support personnel as needed to enhance student outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Wisconsin.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Experience working in pediatric and educational settings, including school-based and teletherapy environments.
• Skills in AAC and familiarity with tools like Proloquo2Go and TouchChat.
• Flexibility to adapt schedules between early childhood and adolescent populations.

This contract runs from August 25th through June 5th and includes a virtual interview process, with decisions made promptly for an immediate start. Fingerprint clearance and a signed contract will be required before beginning the assignment.
