We are currently seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our interdisciplinary team and support individuals across two core divisions: Adult Services and Consultative ABA services for children.
SummaryThe Physical Therapist will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing physical therapy programs for both children and adults receiving services from Amego Inc. This position offers the unique opportunity to work across age groups and settings, providing services that support functional movement, motor development, mobility, and quality of life. Travel between sites in Attleboro, Northboro, and Holbrook, MA is required.
Key Responsibilities Adult ServicesConduct physical therapy evaluations and re-evaluations for adults in residential and day program settings.
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans to address mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
Collaborate with direct support staff, nursing, and behavior teams to integrate PT strategies into daily routines.
Provide training and consultation to program staff and caregivers on mobility support, safe transfer techniques, and use of adaptive equipment.
Monitor and document progress, updating treatment plans as needed to reflect goals and improvements.
Conduct assessments of gross motor function and movement patterns in children receiving ABA therapy services.
Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), educators, and family members to support individualized programming.
Deliver consultative services that may include direct sessions, program development, and caregiver training.
Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications to support physical development and access to education or home environments.
Participate in team meetings, progress reviews, and contribute to comprehensive care planning.
Salary Range: $85,000-$91,000/yr - Additional Mileage stipend not included in salary range.

Qualifications- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to multiple service locations.
- At least 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, across pediatric and/or adult populations.
- Preferred Skill:
- Experience working within interdisciplinary teams.
- Background in behavioral health or ABA environments.
- Familiarity with adaptive devices.
